Many of you have marched in the streets; here is another way to change what matters to you. Have you ever been frustrated that your elders choose candidates? A barrier has been removed. Did you know that VT is one of 21 states allow underage voting in presidential primaries and 16 states allow it in congressional

Vermont 17-year-olds may vote in both congressional and presidential primaries. If you intend to vote in the Tuesday November 3, 2020 general election please be aware that you are able to vote in the presidential primary as well if your 18th
birthday occurs on or before November 3, 2020. Vermont 17-year-olds may vote in both congressional and presidential primaries.

If you want to vote, you have to register. All voters need to make sure to register to be able vote in the primary March 3.

Early voting has begun and the schedule is listed below.

Town Clerk’s office / Municipal Center between 8:30am and 5:00pm,
M-F, and Saturday, 2/29 from 9:00am to noon.

Town Meeting and Presidential Primary: March 3, 2020
Voting will be held at the American Legion, 32 Linden St
Riding the Current (bus) will be free on March 3, 2020
Polling hours are 7am to 7pm
