Loch Lomand
or Why I write poems
My book will have a happy beginning,
a hopeful middle
but the ending?
My life has been scattered with high hopes
fantastic dreams
dead babies
shattered delusions.
So what shall I write: fiction?

Loch Lomond
There’s a 20 mile long lake near Glasgow in Scotland called Loch Lomond (Loch Laomainn in Gaelic) meaning ‘Lake of the Elms’.
Someone wrote a song about it: “You take the high road, and I’ll take’ the low road and I’ll be in Scotland before you”.
It’s the largest lake (area) in Scotland.
