I-91 Brattleboro Bridge Replacement Project Update: Week of November 1

We will schedule two single-day closures of Route 30 in the immediate vicinity of I-91 in November– one the week of November 1 and another in mid-November. These closures are to ensure public safety as we conduct work on the new bridge above Route 30.

I-91

Northbound I-91 traffic has been relocated onto the southbound bridge. Traffic will remain reduced to one lane in each direction on I-91 until completion of the new bridge. The new bridge will be 104’ wide and is designed to carry all four lanes of traffic –two northbound and two southbound.

RT 30 Closed Today (Oct 30)

Reminder: On Friday, October 30, Route 30 will be closed from approximately 5:00AM to 8:00 PM to ensure the safety of the traveling public when we pour concrete for the new bridge in a location above Route 30.

This work is weather dependent, and may need to be rescheduled, if inclement weather prevents a concrete pour on Friday.

Bruce Lisman?

Newly announced Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Lisman is calling for a two-year moratorium on new industrial renewable generation projects.

He calls solar arrays “eyesores”. I suppose he sees beauty in nuclear and fossil fuel generating stations.
What is his real agenda?
