WEST BRATTLEBORO — All Souls Church will continue its film series “Looking Inward at White Power and Privilege” with a screening of “Mirrors of Privilege” on Sunday, Feb. 25, at noon, proceeded by a simple lunch.
The 4th Annual Par for the Cause – an indoor mini-golf classic to benefit the Winston Prouty Center for Child and Family Development – will be held on Saturday, March 3rd from 6:00 – 9:00pm. Community members are invited to gather friends and join the fun for an evening of friendly competition and delicious food. Light dinner fare will be served by the Guilford Country Store & Café and a cash bar will be served by Hazel. Donated goods and services by local businesses will be raffled off. Tickets to the Par for the Cause are $25 and can be purchased at www.winstonprouty.org or at the door.

Asian Cultural Center of Vermont (ACCVT) presents Lunar New Year of China, Korea and Vietnam. Sunday, Feb 18th, 1-3:30 at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center (10 Vernon St) . It’s the 16th annual celebration of its kind in southeastern Vermont. It’s a potluck. This year we feature Li Fei Osbourne who will share a dance of the Yi people (one of the Chinese ethnic minorities) and then teach us all a Yi dance. Join us to dance with the Dragon, do group calligraphy, join in a Korean tug-of-war, make a paper lantern or some origami, and sing a New Year’s song from East Asia. You don’t have to be Asian or know anything about Asia to participate!
