PUTNEY- Southern Vermont’s favorite puppet theater event for young audiences returns for its 10th season of performances, workshops and school engagements. Sandglass Theater’s Winter Sunshine Series kicks off on Saturday, February 17th at 11am and 2pm with two public performances at Sandglass Theater.

Spread the word! The Country Western Jamboree has been moved to the Eagles Club on Chickering Dr. (The change is due to water damage at the VFW) on Sunday, 2/18 from 1:00-6:00pm. Please share this information with anyone who may be planning to attend!!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no bingo at the Brattleboro VFW Wednesday, 2-7-2018.

On Friday, December 1st from 5:30 – 8:30 PM and then again on Saturday December 2nd from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Brattleboro Area Hospice will host a Holiday shopping extravaganza in the Brooks House Atrium on the corner of High and Main Streets in downtown Brattleboro, Vermont.

SAXTONS RIVER, Vt. – A journey through childhood fairy tales – with a twist – is the theme of Stephen Sondheim’s musical “Into the Woods,” which opens Friday, Nov. 10 at Main Street Arts for a two-weekend run.

Join us for the Halloween dance, this Saturday the 28th, at Pierce’s Hall in East Putney! The hall will be decked out in its Halloween glory, costumes are encouraged (but not required), and the band will be dishing up some creepy tunes along with the classic contra standards.

The Vermont Ukulele Harvest takes place on Saturday, October 14, at Saxtons River Arts, Saxtons River, VT. This special debut event will include multiple ukulele workshops, vendors, jam sessions, a healthy delicious catered lunch, Open Mic performance opportunities, and an all-star evening concert featuring national and regional performers.
