Bicycling Injury in Guilford

My son was hit by a vehicle Wednesday 8-23-13 in Guilford near Paul’s Road. He was headed to work on his bicycle. He was transported to BMH ER.

I am interested in communicating with anyone who happened to witness or pass by the area and saw the vehicle hit my son and throw him on the ground causing large abrasions.

We have protection for pedestrians and bicyclers in the form of the “Safe Passage Law” in Vermont which was .

We have seen too many injuries and deaths in Windham County in the past year caused by vehicles, to pedestrians and bikers.

Thank you for your help and comments.

Guilford Pre-Town Meeting

It’s in the Calemdar already, but I got the feeling iBrattleboro wants Guilford news & this seems to be it for this week. (I do see your note in the guidelines saying events should go in the Calendar, maybe not here, so am not sure you want this here, but anyway!!!)

This Thursday at Broad Brook Grange at 7 pm is the annual pre-town meeting.  First the Selectboard, then School board, will outline the items they’re going to be bringing to the voters on Mar 5.  This is good venue to ask questions in an informal setting.  Candidates for Town & School Board offices are also asked to attend to introduce themselves. Guilford doesn’t get as fancy as having a candidates’ forum, so this is it.
