Does Equal Protection Under The Law Require All People With Similar Federal Criminal Convictions To Be Pardoned, Just Like President Biden Pardoned His Son, Hunter Biden?
President Joe Biden pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, for alleged federal tax and federal gun related crimes. Now, shouldn’t President Joe Biden pardon ALL people in prisons in the United States of America for the same or very similar Federal crimes?
If he doesn’t pardon everyone in prison,
or people who have been convicted but not sentenced yet,
for the same or similar Federal crimes,
then doesn’t that pave the way
for future Presidents,
including President-elect Donald Trump,
to give his sons and daughters a wink and a nod to commit all kinds of
crimes that will enrich their family,
and expect a pardon before his term is up?
Isn’t this a prima facie extended warranty
to all future Presidents that your sons and daughters
can do anything they want to, and
they will be pardoned?
Are you even a tiny bit worried that President-elect Donald Trump
might be licking his lips right now,
thinking and planning huge, enormous
financial crimes with his White House
Best Friend Elon Musk,
and maybe just a few very little federal gun crimes,
because, after all, didn’t President Joe Biden’s pardon of his son
include a gun related crime pardon?
Noooo! They wouldn’t; would they?
Is this the last straw broken, crushed,
that defines the United States of America as a Banana Republic?
How can we ever, forever for the rest of our lives, ever
feel safe, knowing the President of the United States of America
can pardon his family members when they are convicted of committing
any federal crime they want to,
and they will not be held accountable?
And, you can’t Impeach President Joe Biden for using
his Presidential Pardon Power;
so how do we go forward from here
as a Nation?

Good for Biden!
For years, Republican politicians kept up the litany of: “Hunter Biden’s laptop.” It was pure, opportunistic lack of empathy to endlessly attack a vulnerable, recovering addict, as a distraction from honest policy debate.
That his father chose not to collaborate with these heartless Republicans, refusing to allow them to destroy his son as a blood sacrifice, is a tribute to his decency.
The laptop had invoices for bribes, FFS
There were spreadsheets on the laptop showing payments from corrupt Ukrainian officials to Hunter with comments like “with an extra 10% for the old man”. It’s hilarious that Hunter Biden smokes crack, but pretending that that’s the only reason anyone cared about the story is wrong. (And yes, Trump and his family is corrupt as shit too.)
When Biden promised not to pardon his son, blue team cheered him. Now that he (or his staff, it’s likely Biden doesn’t know what planet he’s on) did the exact opposite thing, they’re cheering for that.
