Are you a Vermonter who winters in Florida? Wanna have some fun? Remember many years ago in 2000 when Hillary Clinton was a carpet bagger from Arkansas to New York, and she ran for office in NY and won? Are you a Democrat who lost the Nov. 5th, 2024 election in Vermont and you’ve been thinking of hiding your head in the sand? How about Florida?
By now you might have read the glossy gossip news: Congressman Matt Gaetz was a very bad boy and is not expected to take his Congressional seat in January 2025, and he is no longer President-elect Donald Trump’s bestie boy.
There will be special elctions in Florida to replace Matt Gaetz, and also Mike Waltz, who is currently nominated to a position by President-elect Donald Trump.
There are 20 or more Republicans running in the Florida 1st and 6th Congressional District special elections and a very few Democrats and one candidate who is not aligned with a party.
C. Marcel Davis is a Democrat, he is listed on the Federal Elections website as a candidate.
https://www.fec.gov/data/candidate/H6FL01291/
C. Marcel Davis is a church pastor, also involved with the Boys & Girls Club, Negro College Fund, Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, and works in HIV and AIDS prevention education.

One of the Democrats running is Gay Valimont.
https://www.fec.gov/data/candidate/H4FL01197/
She says she knows how to talk to Republicans and says the opiod drug use creates a state of emergency. She says we should run our government like a sports team. She wants infrastructure money to fix the roads and bridges because people can’t get out of Florida fast enough in an emergency. She says she needs 2,000 petition signatures or she has to pay $2,000. to get on the ballot for the special election.
Democrat Stanley Gray is also running for the seat being vacated by Matt Gaetz. A few news articles say the qualifying period ends December 6, 2024 but I don’t see that on the official Florida government links.
Due to the urgency, I want to give everyone some instructions for Forida’s 1st Congressional District and 6th Congressional District. Find Democrats to run in these districts right away!
These are supposedly rock hard solid Republican Districts, but that can change fast with all the news stories about President-elect Donald Trump’s plans to remove illegal migrants. They all thought Kamala Harris would win and keep them safe, but threats by Donald Trump to use the U.S. Military to kick out undocumented workers might fuel Democrats to defeat Republicans In Florida’s 1st and 6th Congressional District Special Elections.

Right now, because of the Nov. 5, 2024 general election in the United States of America, there are 214 Democrat members of the U.S. House of Representatives and 220 Republicans.
Apparently Congressman Matt Gaetz will not go back to work in January, and there will be a special election in Florida to replace him.
Congressman Mike Waltz has been appointed to a new post by President-elect Donald Trump, and so there will be a special election to replace him.
That gives the Democrats until April 1, 2025 to change the head count to
216 Democrats and 218 Republicans. The Republicans would still hold the majority, but that will also depend on how many other Republicans Donald Trump chooses to appoint to positions in his upcoming administration.
Both of the special elections are in Florida. So, the question is, what can Democrats do to motivate people in Florida to either switch from Republican to Democrat, or to bother to vote if they did not vote on Nov. 5, 2024?
What are the big issues in Florida right now? How many illegal migrants are in Florida who might be kicked out, or at least in fear of being deported, after President-elect Donald Trump is sworn into Office?
O.K., let’s get some wild ideas here, how about Vice President Kamala Harris becoming a “carpet bagger” and running as a Democrat candidate in one of the two Florida special elections? Which Congressional district could she possibly have a chance of defeating a Republican in?
What about ______fill in the blank, grab hold of a famous Democrat who did not win the Nov. 5, 2024 election, or even run in it, and ask them to be a carpet bagger and run in one of the Florida special elections? How about a famous Hollywood celebrity?
What is a “carpet bagger”? A carpet bagger is a person who does not actually live in the Congressional District, but under the United States Constitution is allowed to run for Representative to the United States Congress so long as they live in that District the day they are elected.
Constitution of the United States
Article I
Section 1
All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
Section 2
The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature.
No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen.
Come on, think about it, throw out some ideas.
With 218 members, the Republicans will still hold the majority in theory,
but any vote on any political issue subject could be toppled by just a
couple Republicans sucking the nectar held in front of them by some big money Democrat political action committee.
Pick any Hollywood celebrity who is a multi-millionaire and a Democrat and who is sympathetic with illegal migrants, and who doesn’t have a television show or committments to film a movie between now and April 1st.
Can you imagine the shock on Republican faces on April Fool’s Day if two Democrats get elected?
Why are illegal migrants, often known as undocumented workers. so worried about President-elect Donald Trump being sworn in to Office on January 20, 2025?

6 U.S.C. §466
Sec. 466. Sense of Congress reaffirming the continued importance and applicability
of the Posse Comitatus Act
(a) Findings
Congress finds the following:
(1) Section 1385 of title 18 (commonly known as the “Posse Comitatus Act”)
prohibits the use of the Armed Forces as a posse comitatus to execute the laws except in
cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of
Congress.
(2) Enacted in 1878, the Posse Comitatus Act was expressly intended to prevent
United States Marshals, on their own initiative, from calling on the Army for assistance
in enforcing Federal law.
(3) The Posse Comitatus Act has served the Nation well in limiting the use of the
Armed Forces to enforce the law.
(4) Nevertheless, by its express terms, the Posse Comitatus Act is not a complete
barrier to the use of the Armed Forces for a range of domestic purposes, including law
enforcement functions, when the use of the Armed Forces is authorized by Act of
Congress or the President determines that the use of the Armed Forces is required to
fulfill the President’s obligations under the Constitution to respond promptly in time of
war, insurrection, or other serious emergency.
(5) Existing laws, including chapter 15 of title 10 (commonly known as the
“Insurrection Act”), and the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance
Act (42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq.), grant the President broad powers that may be invoked in the event of domestic emergencies, including an attack against the Nation using weapons of
mass destruction, and these laws specifically authorize the President to use the Armed
Forces to help restore public order.
SO, WILL PRESIDENT TRUMP DECLARE A NATIONAL EMERGENCY? There have been thousands of deaths by fentanyl and some rapes and murders by illegal migrants. Are the huge number of fentanyl drug overdoses a national emergency? If so, who is really to blame?
O.K., so how about somebody calling Hollywood, find out who the agent for Keanu Reeves is, and ask if he could run for political office as a “carpet bagger” because he has already done a movie that covers the issue of illegal migrants, so this would be in his, what do they that call that in Hollywood, his “type”? In the movie The Bad Batch, Keanu Reeves plays The Dream, who runs a town called Comfort for illegal immigrants, and others.

“cannibal leader Miami Man (Jason Momoa)… wasn’t exiled to the Bad Batch for gangs or drugs,
as Arlen speculates, but for being an illegal immigrant.”

Error correction: $10,000. to get on ballot not $2,000. if candidate does not submit 2,000 petition signatures
Error correction, sorry, I had to listen to Gay Valimont’s video again.
I’m 72 years old and a little hard of hearing so $10,000 sounded like $2,000
the first time I listened. Gotta be careful of that at my age!
