The following Warning is to be posted in all usual Meeting Warning locations:
The Town Clerks and Boards of Civil Authority in the towns of Brattleboro, Dummerston, Guilford and Putney will convene to re-count votes from the March 5, 2024 School Director Election for two three-year term positions as Brattleboro representatives on the WSESD Board of Directors.
The recounts will occur at the following times and locations:
Brattleboro: Brattleboro Town Clerk’s Office, Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
Dummerston: Dummerston Town Clerk’s Office, Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
Guilford: Guilford Town Clerk’s Office, Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
Putney: Putney Town Clerk’s Office, Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
Please note that Election re-counts can be observed by candidates and the general public. Town Clerks will provide guidance as to where observers may be positioned. The results from each town will be sent to the WSESD Clerk. Unofficial results will be posted at wsesu.org/wsesd-board/, and emailed to Candidates, Town Clerks, Media, WSESD Board, and WSESD/WSESU Administrators as soon as total counts are collected from all four Town Clerks.
