Hello! I’m Cris Ericson and I am one of the 5 (FIVE!!!) INDEPENDENT candidates on the Nov. 8, 2022 ballot for U.S. Senator. It’s starting to look like the independent movement is very popular in Vermont!
I do want to report, because I mentioned this previously, that my first cousin’s son was on the ballot in Missouri, and now I am terribly sad to report that the Press reported that the richest candidate won the Democrat primary for U.S. Senator there. The richest Democrat candidate, Trudy Busch Valentine, heiress to megal millions from the Busch empire, didn’t bother to file until the last filing date, and waltzed in and started spreading her cash around Missouri. Lucas Kunce had been campaigning for a whole year, a nice guy, a U.S. Marine for 13 years, Major, JAG Officer, law degree in International Law, worked with the Pentagon, was exposed to burn pits, AND HE WAS ENDORSED BY U.S. SENATOR BERNIE SANDERS OF VERMONT.
Well, I’ll tell you, I wasn’t going to take this news passively from the Press declaring the winner when only 95% of the votes were in for their Primary, Aug. 2nd in Missouri. So, I emailed the Missouri Secretary of State Elections Div. and asked what on earth was going on. They responded the next day and said that the Military votes wouldn’t be in from overseas until Aug. 5th. Furthermore, the clerks had two weeks to certify them, and the final vote count would be certified Aug. 30th. Well, that is very interesting because there was a narrow margin of alleged victory by the opponent, and the margin of victory was so narrow, that with the overseas Military votes, I thought Lucas Kunce could still win.
So, what I’m saying is, basically, I think it is outrageously un-American for the Press to call the winner when the U.S. Military votes have not even all come in yet. That is a huge insult to the U.S. Military, just like it is a huge harm to our troops to be exposed to burn pits without medical treatment, something Lucas Kunce and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders are fighting for. I certainly hope the press in Vermont does not insult the U.S. Military the way the press insulted them in Missouri by declaring a winner when all those Military votes had not been counted yet. FAKE NEWS MEDIA!
O.K. so the last filing date in Vermont was Aug. 4th and on Aug. 6th the Secretary of State Elections division in Vermont had changed from 3 candidates for U.S. Senator to 5 candidates for U.S. Senator. They did this the day after the Missouri Secretary of State elections division admitted all the votes were not in yet. The two (2) new candidates reported having no website.

Here is my newest little campaign pitch, and I am working on a longer more informative one:
Hello! Hi! Are you a Vermont voter?
I’m Cris Ericson and I’m on the November 8th election ballot
for United States Senator as an independent candidate.
There is a huge difference between me and all of the other
candidates, I have a plan to get money for programs Vermonters
need without raising taxes!
Inflation and high prices are hurting Vermont voters who are
concerned about their family members, and communities.
From babies to senior citizens and everyone in between,
we need money for all kinds of programs, right now with this
high inflation hurting so many people!
Your federal tax dollars go to the I.R.S. and then the
U.S. Congress votes to give BILLIONS of dollars
in SUBSIDIES to WEALTHY CORPORATIONS and to the
N.I.H., National Institute of Health, and to the Pentagon,
for research, design and development of new products.
The Patents, the ownership rights to the new products,
are turned over to the corporations to sell worldwide
for trillions of dollars in profits.
Because taxpayers, paid BILLIONS for research,
we should receive a share of the TRILLIONS of dollars
in profits that the corporations make!
WE NEED OUR FAIR SHARE OF PROFITS
FROM EVERY CORPORATION
THAT MADE TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS
USING OUR TAX DOLLARS !
WE NEED OUR FAIR SHARE OF PROFITS
FOR ALL KINDS OF PROGRAMS.
We need more money for healthcare, we need
more money for higher education,
we need more federally subsidized housing,
we need more food stamps
for struggling families and persons living with
disabilities and senior citizens
on fixed incomes because food prices are so high
right now, we need child care
programs and school programs and after school
programs and tutors so kids
won’t be left behind, AND WE CERTAINLY NEED
MORE FUEL ASSISTANCE
THIS WINTER IN VERMONT, and we need
all kinds of programs to help people
of all ages!
Inflation may get worse, not better, and only
your vote can help fix the
problems that the U.S. Congress has created!
We must demand “R.O.I.” return on investment of
taxpayer dollars because it is demoralizing
and dehumanizing to force us to pay tax dollars
which the U.S. Congress votes to give for the benefit
of corporations which use our tax dollars to make
trillions of dollars for themselves. That is
modern day slavery!
Why do U.S. Senators and U.S. Congress members vote to
give your tax dollars as corporate subsidies, and for
research for new products, with the ownership rights
of the new products handed over to the corporations
to sell world wide for trillions of dollars in profits,
and nothing in return to taxpayers for use of their money?
MEMBERS OF THE U.S. CONGRESS,
HOUSE AND SENATE, GET KICKBACKS!
The corporations give some of their trillions
of dollars in profits to PACs, political action
committees, and they give money to the incumbent
elected officials political campaign accounts
so they can get re-elected!
That’s why some of them are in office for so long!
If you agree that it is time to demand a return on
investment of taxpayer dollars, then please vote for me,
CRIS ERICSON for United States Senator,
Independent candidate for Vermont. Thank you!
