From noon to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, there will be a SIster Vigil at Pliny Park, at Main and High Streets in Brattleboro, to stand in solildarity with marchers in Washington, D.C. — and all over the world (https://www.womensmarch.com/sisters).
There may be many people in the area who would like to join the Women’s March but will be staying here for whatever reason. This vigil is for them — for us.
Thank you

At my last look at the website, Brattleboro was still not listed. Greenfield, Noho, Keene, and several other places in VT, NH,and Western Mass are listed, but not Brattleboro.
Being listed there not only increases awareness of the Bratt action for anyone still seeking a place to participate, but also registers our event among the hundreds worldwide, and registers the estimated turnout among the many hundreds of thousands (now at 1.3 million, not even counting the biggie in DC), which to me is one of the the most important aspects of that day — the huge numbers will be hard to ignore, and hard to spin away even as “they” will inevitably try to do so.
