Fifteen years later I still have the same thoughts about the events of 9/11 I’ve had from the beginning.Since I lived in New York City most of my adult life, I have an intimate view of the original Trade Towers. The immensity of them was something you had to see in person. Photos can give you an idea of their size, but not as well as standing under them, being inside of them or on the observation deck of the South Tower.
Towers 1 and 2 were built to withstand multiple Boeing 707 impacts. By 1973 both towers were fully constructed.
In 1993 a truck bomb in a garage under the North Tower was detonated using 1,336 pounds of a “urea nitrate–hydrogen gas enhanced device.” The explosion killed six people and injured 1,100. The explosion blew a “98 foot wide hole through four sublevels of concrete” and the blast “velocity traveled 15,000 feet per second” driving smoke up to the 93rd floor. The intended goal of toppling the building, however, did not happen.
When the 2001 World Trade Center attack was planned it needed a result that would destroy the towers but the 9/11 planners knew from the 1993 attack that it would take more than a bomb or gas loaded plane to bring them down.
The ‘collective” planners had no choice but to wire the buildings in advance. We know that because the towers simply were pulverized into bits and pieces. It’s clear the collective had advance knowledge of the attacks and used the terrorist plane impacts to preinstall and initiate efficient demolition sequences within a reasonable time following the plane impacts. The collective carefully planned to pull the towers down into their footprints. In fact, considering the towers were located in a dense area populated with people and buildings the collapse of the towers was one of the cleanest demolition jobs on record.
On that ill-fated morning my immediate reaction was that the towers went down in a similarly carefully planned manner of demolishing a Las Vega casino. Interviews with firefighters show some questioning whether or not the towers were tampered with. One fireman stated that they didn’t even find desks, file cabinets, computers or other intact or crumpled office furniture that you would expect to find in a straightforward building collapse sequence, and, the largest body part they found was a half a foot. Even most of the 247 steel beam columns each tower was constructed with were pulverized. Only parts of some beams were found.
Fifteen years after the Sept. 11 tower attacks is it worth asking the question what was really the purpose of pulverizing Towers 1 and 2, and later that day Tower 7?

Personally I’d rather take the word of the actual engineer who said that the towers were, as far as they could determine, designed to withstand the crash of a Boeing 707 coming in for a landing so not full of fuel, moving at a slow speed (say lost in fog). That would be “a” Boeing 707 as in one airplane. Of course this theory was never tested until much larger planes loaded with fuel crashed into the towers at approximately 6 times the speed the original engineers were calculating. And unfortunately the result was much more catastrophic than they had imagined. The idea that someone would have been able to, would have actually wired the towers and that news of this plot would not have eventually seeped out is just plain nonsensical. Sometimes the truth is right in front of your face but it seems so simple that one looks for more elaborate explanations.
There are clear and logical reasons as to why the Trade Center withstood a bomb in the basement chamber and yet not a direct hit by a fully loaded plane from above. But one would have to put aside fantasy and look at blueprints and explanations about the structure of the building and stay away fuzzy thinking from 9-11 Whatevers for Truth organizations.
The one truth that does exist is that it’s quite likely that there was obviously a decision made by Bush et al to ignore multiple warnings and alerts about a possible attack which was a criminal act on the part of that President and his administration.

That’s exactly what this group has done, for 14 years! Not ‘whatevers’. Architects. Engineers. Experts on ‘blueprints and explanations about the structure of the building’. Not politicians. Not lawyers. Not paid ‘report’ creators.

Our job was to come up with the best science.”[38] A spokesperson for NIST said the agency’s computer models were highly reliable in assessing the amount of fireproofing dislodged, a factor that would not be present in other steel buildings cited by Gage.[6]“
I’m sure you probably will dismiss this group as another bunch of crazy truthers, but they appear to be over 1,500 of the brightest and most educated professionals in their field. Surely there must be some sanity in their midst? Have you looked at some of their material with at least a partially open mind? Do you really accept as the whole truth and nuthin’ but the truth, verbatim, the official ‘story’ about what happened that tragic day in our history?
I recall the day like it was yesterday. I remember where I was, what I was doing, who I was with, everything. One of the early observations that struck me as odd was that when I was looking at the views of where the ‘plane’ struck the Pentagon, that the size of the ‘hole’ in the side of the building seemed strangely smaller than the size of the aircraft that was ‘alleged’ to have crashed into it. Also, inside the gaping hole in the building, caused by this ‘plane’ crashing into it, there were curtains, desks, reams of tractor feed computer paper, all twirling around in the wind as if they had never even been warm, much less hit by a plane. How could they not have been burned to a crisp, much like everything that was fried to a crisp by the huge fireball in the towers when the planes hit?
The whole WTC7 story is a joke too. You don’t have to be a demolition expert to see the similarities between that ‘fall’ and a controlled demolition free-fall. I saw, in the early days of TV coverage, the video of the firemen who came out of WTC7 saying that they heard loud explosions (now cleansed from the intertubes).

This from an architects who’s highest building projects were a California mall and a high school gymnasium prior to 9-11, and he wasn’t the designer on either project. At any rate, I’ll not respond to any of this nonsense or these truther sites. Apparently you’re one of those who doesn’t even believe planes hit the towers contrary to eyewitness reports from thousands of New Yorkers that day. I guess they’re all in cahoots with whom-ever. Of course that would be the first time in recorded history that thousands of New Yorkers agreed that they saw the same thing, but heh, I guess it could happen. Yup, thousands of New Yorkers had a secret meeting and agreed that they would all say they saw airplanes hit the trade center, then they did it, and nobody rat-ed anyone out about it. The fact that the majority of “300,000” engineers do not speak up and only 1,500 engineers do, does not suggest to me that the 1,500 live in a fantasy world or are fuzzy thinkers. In fact, it’s because 1,500 dare to speak up is what impresses me the most.
About the larger plane, faster speed issues, multiple Boeings’ 707 would easily be equal to a single larger, faster plane impact.

I consider the events of that day to be criminal acts that should have been treated just like any other crime scene. That was not the case. The (intentional) failure to secure the sites for appropriate and ‘exhaustive forensic analysis,’ weighs heavy against the government officials making decisions back then. However, it should be noted that I did not identify the criminals except to call them a “collective of planners.” I made no mention of a government conspiracy, Bush et al, or any other conspiracy. As in any operation I am noting, I describe strategy, not conspiracy.
Most readings of the pilots who flew the planes have never been identified as having the capability of a carefully planned demolition, and, aside from the probable lack of their ability, you would need a well trained small army to wire three massive buildings. Each building was unmistakably pulverized to drop neatly into their footprints, in an identical manner. That is not a coincidence. And, most people who respond to me do not address the issue of the “Pulverization” of three massive towers expertly pulled into their footprints.
I see we have nowhere to go with this discussion. The polarization of what happened that is long established and cannot be rendered into a unified view. So be it.
But the greatest losers that day are the people who died. I can state with certainty that none of them woke up that morning wanting to be dead “heroes.” That is the real crime here.

This week, activist and talk radio host Bob Tuskin went to the University of Florida campus armed with a small television and a microphone. After getting his gear set up, Tuskin started something that he called “The Building 7 Challenge.” The idea was to show people footage of building 7 falling at free fall speed on 9/11 2001, and just ask them what they saw on the video without first telling them when the footage was taken.
A vast majority of the people who he interviewed, even police officers that were called the scene, stated that it was fairly obvious that the building was demolished. After they gave their answers, Tuskin informed them that the footage was in fact from World Trade Center Building 7, the building that collapsed, but was not hit by a plane.
Despite the fact that building 7 appeared to be demolished and was not on fire as the other buildings were, there are many people who are not even aware that it fell on that day, and many others who think that it is simply a conspiracy theory.
There is so much evidence that has come to light since the collapse of the world trade centers that it is now quite clear that there was a massive cover-up involved in this situation. There were also many members of the establishment, employees of the CIA, FBI, NSA and other organizations who caught on to the cover up while it was happening. These whistleblowers successfully exposed the cover up beyond a reasonable doubt, but their stories were largely ignored by the mainstream media. The testimony of people like Sibel Edmonds, Richard Andrew Grove, William Bergman, Coleen Rowley, J. Michael Springmann, Robert Wright, Indira Singh and Barry Jennings totally blows the official government account out of the water.

Almost every specific point of the general story contradicts all evidence and eye witness accounts. The 9/11 commission, which was developed to investigate the issue was a setup. How do we know this? Most of the people who sat on the 9/11 commission have since come forward admitting that they were not allowed to look into most of the evidence and that they were tightly controlled by the pentagon. One commissioner John Farmer has even come out and wrote a book called “The Ground Truth” in which he reveals the details of how the 9/11 commission report was basically written by the government. This means that a kangaroo court was responsible for investigating the crime of the century, isn’t this a good enough reason to support a legitimate investigation?

The clip that they are showing is very misleading.
First of all, WT7 was severely damaged by fire on the side facing WTC1 that raged all through the building visible from the side that had faced the tower. There are photos and video available so to deny that it was on fire is willful ignorance at this point. In addition it sustained a 20 floor gash from falling debris. What appears to be “ash” falling was full of huge amounts and huge lengths of steel and structural beams from the towers. . Also WT7 was built with an open center as if you squared off the letter C and turned it over to it’s right on it’s side. The support structures were on each end, the mid-section was open.
No fires huh. Well who am I to believe, people I knew who were down there and video that is readily available or a talk show reporter in Florida who’s trying to garner a little attention for himself by showing misleading video. Someone who has built his career on 9-11 conspiracy theories and doesn’t believe that there’s such a thing as HIV. Oh well, nice haircut Bob, decided to spruce up your image a bit did ya? The minute you say there was no fire in WT7 it’s pretty much over and out for me. Unless of course, the entire NYC fire department was also in on the fix.

When I posted the Ask Your Neighbors article I knew that you would comment. It was a risk worth taking, even it really doesn’t matter to me what the 2 sides argue about…
It was meant to illustrate how when some people were shown footage of the Tower 7 collapse, true to their own on the spot views, thought it was a demolition job. Not unlike my own unbiased view on 9/11/2001.
If I set aside all other clips and articles from both sides, this is what “I” will say…
It simply is not possible for three massive towers to each being pulverized into bits and pieces and each falling into their footprints in a neat and identical manner, and each falling at a rate of 10 seconds.
At least one of those towers should have collapsed in a manner that was not identical to the other two. At least one of those towers should have pancaked with some floors sliding in an irregular manner, even likely sliding away to some degree from the building structure.
There should have been “parts” not “bits.” There should have been body parts, possibly, and likely, whole bodies found in the wreckage, not just bits of human bodies. There should have been at least a handful of crumpled desks, broken furniture, filing cabinets, smashed computers, water fountain, crushed toilets, any goddamn thing that were not turned into pulverized bits.
“I” would think that a law of probability would indicate that at least “one” of the “three” towers should have been visibly inconsistent with the other two, and not look as identical they did in the footage captured that day.
Setting aside what happened before the towers collapsed, show me some goddanmed real “inconsistencies” in the way the buildings came down And, it better be good Rosa.
“I” will never trust the official story that those three towers were each dropped in an identical manner. Never.

I will only comment that far as I do not want to start discussing your fascination with and mis-information about body parts. You are simply wrong. I will offer you this. Also this “there were no desks or chairs” stuff is bunk. Anyone who did recovery down there would attest to desks, chairs and file cabinets or pieces of them among the rubble. But then who would you want to believe, truthers who have patched together incomes off 9-11 and the deaths or people who did recovery work and were actually there to attest to what happened and the doctors who did the identifications. To my knowledge no one in any of the posts today and over the last several years have ever responded to “my” claim the that the buildings were pulverized and that the three towers all came down in an identical manner, which is impossible to my way of thinking.
But you don’t have to answer the lack of “inconsistencies” in the manner which the towers were dropped. I already know the answer.
