I just received an email from a lawyer and peace activist in Boston named Ralph Lopez, in which he references an article written by himself about the Dzhokhar Tsarnaev trial.
In the article, Lopez states that “High quality images from just-posted evidence exhibits in the Tsarnaev trial by the US Department of Justice show conclusively that the backpack carried by Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in a surveillance video, and the one said to contain the bomb which killed eight-year-old Richard Martin, do not match in color.”
He supplies photos that corroborate this.
Further, in his email, he states “They may have dumbed me down they may have psyched me out, but I’ll be damned if now I don’t know what a 5 year-old knows, the difference between black and white…It boils down to one question. If the backpack is black then there are still killers on the loose.”
So, who is the third man in the pictures? (The one wearing a black pack with a white label, very similar to the exploded backpack shown in Ralph’s pictures? Note: the label is circled in Ralph’s picture)
One correspondent identifies them as employees of Craft International — a private military/security firm similar in nature to Blackwater now known as Academi: It is interesting that this man apparently left the scene WITHOUT his backpack. See my photo.
Unfortunately, the site where this photo came from has been removed. I tried to find the photo elsewhere, but all I could come up with is a partial in this article by Rense: I can’t comment on the accuracy of Rense.com because I just don’t know. His views seem to represent right wing thinking, and Wikipedia says he promotes fringe views and conspiracies. He also has been accused of anti-Semitism, tho I don’t see how that has any relevance here.
Questions remain
These images have been around for a while, and haven’t really been explained.
IF this is as you suspect, agents assisting in the event, it varies from the usual pattern of FBI- arresting-homegrown-“terrorists” in only one way: real explosions. The New York Times has an editorial asking where the facts are. They write:
“Even worse, two critical questions have not been answered. Where were the bombs built? Investigators have testified that they were not built at the older brother’s apartment or in the younger brother’s dorm room. Were they built in someone else’s apartment, house or garage? If so, who, and was he a knowing accomplice? Did he help in any other way?”
All of the other so-called terrorist plots “thwarted” by the FBI in recent years show the agency working very closely with people to help them plot and plan attacks. Again and again they provide the materials, push them along, and help them get to a point where they can be arrested. In those cases, there never was any danger as the “bombs” and such were fakes, supplied by the government.
In this case, there were real explosions. How did they come to be?
So what?
So the backpacks don’t match. A minor discrepancy. Who cares? We all know he’s guilty. Hang him high!
