Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the public forum at Fuller Park, which was originally scheduled for tonight, Thursday, June 20, has been postponed.

The public forum has been rescheduled for Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Fuller Park (also known as Esteyville Common), located at 115 Estey Street in Brattleboro. The rain date for this event is July 11, 2024, at the same time and location.

This public forum is an opportunity for the public to share thoughts and ideas about the future of the park and the bandstand. While the park is in fair condition, the bandstand is in poor condition and has gone unused due to safety and accessibility concerns.

The Town asks that those who are interested in attending the public forum bring a lawn chair.

Members of the public are also welcome to provide feedback about the project by emailing the Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department at recreation@brattleboro.gov or calling 802-254-5808.

    “1886 Town Gains Fuller Park

Col. L. K. Fuller is about to present to the village a beautiful park with all the modern improvements, including a stand for our Esteyville brass band. This park is a triangular piece of land lying just south of the schoolhouse, between Estey and Pleasant streets, and is the geographic center of Esteyville.”
