Starting Tuesday, September 17, Northeast Paving (a contractor of the Town) will begin the paving portion of our annual capital paving project. Weather permitting, the following schedule is anticipated:
Tuesday, September 17
Old Guilford Road – One-way alternating traffic. Expect traffic disturbances.
Wednesday, September 18
Maple St and Fairview St – Streets will be closed to through traffic during paving operations. Each street closure may take several hours.
Thursday, September 19
Estey St, Green St and Oak St – Streets will be closed to through traffic during paving operations. Each street closure may take several hours.
Work is expected to happen between 7 am and 5 pm. On street parking will not be permitted during paving operations. No parking signs will be posted the afternoon prior to work on each street.
The work on Green St will not be performed during the hours of the one-way pick-up/drop-off at Green St School. School traffic will not be affected.
