In a memorandum dated December 27, 2024 Town Manager John Potter discusses the Downtown Brattleboro Alliance’s request to suspend parking fees for the last two weekends in December of 2024. By approving the Consent Agenda, the Board will ratify the staff decision to accept the Downtown Brattleboro Alliance’s request to suspend parking fees for the last two weekends in December of 2024.

8. OLD BUSINESS
A. Chapter 15 (Downtown Improvement District) Ordinance Change – Second Reading (6:35 PM)
In a memorandum dated December 17, 2024 Planning Director Sue Fillion discusses the proposed changes to the Brattleboro Code of Ordinances Chapter 15, Municipal Act to Establish and Regulate the Downtown Improvement Act. This is a second reading. The Board is asked to consider the proposed changes and to possibly adopt them.
POTENTIAL MOTION: TO ADOPT THE CHANGES TO THE BRATTLEBORO CODE OF
ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 15 MUNICIPAL ACT TO ESTABLISH AND REGULATE THE
DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT ACT.

The Board is asked to consider the applications for possible appointment to those committees.
