After some initial staff level discussion on the issue of mutual aid between the Town of Brattleboro and Rescue Inc., Chief Hazelton made clear his preference for direct Board to Board communication. We are happy to honor his request. It is our view that a mutual aid agreement between our two organizations is in our shared best interest. I hope that you agree.
I can say today that should Rescue Inc. ever call for our assistance, we are committed to being there, if we are able. Please let us know how you would like to proceed.
We look forward to work ing together with you to en act a relationship between our two organizations that is both beneficial to our organizations, but more importantly, is beneficial to the people we serve.
