About this event
The Brattleboro RTM Steering Committee is working on ways to help make improvements for the efficiency and effectiveness of our annual town meeting. We want to understand how the annual town meeting is put together, from the point of view of town administrators who the plan and operate the event, because this information will help our work.
We think that this informational event may be interesting for anyone who is a member of RTM, or who may be interested in becoming a member, or who is interested in how our town meeting works, from the point of town administrators. We hope to hold a similar event in the near future with Lawrin Crispe, Moderator of town meeting, on what goes into moderating the deliberation, debate and voting at town meeting.
Committee members have submitted a variety of questions for the speakers, who will try to answer all of them. Following the presentation portion of the event, committee members and guests will have a chance to ask clarifying questions of the speakers.
