The new census is being rolled out. Both Vermont and Windham County have seen population growth, if the numbers are reliable, since 2010.
Windham County had a 3.1% change in population, from 44,513 in 2010 to 45,905 in 2020. Vermont’s population grew by 2.8%, from 625,741 in 2010 to 643,077 in 2020.
The percent of Windham County population over 18 is 82.5%, or 37,893 people.

The country is 90.1% white alone (41,380 people), 1.2% Black or African American alone (536 people), 0.3% American Indian/Native Alaskan alone (139 people), 1.1% Asian alone (494 people), 0% Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander alone (9 people), and 1.1% as “some other race” alone (523 people).
6.2% reported identification by two or more races (2,824 people).
2.9% reported as Hispanic or Latino (1,333 people)
Windham County’s percentage of housing units that are occupied is 68.2%, or 20,388 of a total 29,916 housing units. 4% (1,820 people) are living in group quarters. 221, or .5%, are in institutional quarters.

So what's the current population of the town of Brattleboro?
I believe in 2010 it was 12,040.
It's gone up, or maybe down. : )
Census says 12,184 in 2020, and 12,046 in 2010.
