Brattleboro makes the big time.
Our Chelsea Royal Diner (or at least part of it) is featured in today’s “Zippy the Pinhead”.
Zippy doesn’t appear in any of our local newspapers, so you need to search the web to see it.

Identical twin in Maine?
Did you ever drive from NH to ME via Route 202? Just a few miles east of the state line in Lebanon, ME, on the left (north) side of Route 202, is a diner, most recently called Dee’s but it’s been through a few incarnations over the years (and recently closed again). In the back right corner of the parking lot, there’s a familiar-looking diner car that appears to be used as a storage shed. I should create a new post and insert a few photos, but if you zoom in on these from the diner’s Facebook page…

Another one in Brattleboro
There’s a similar diner here in town, right across the street from my home.
TJ Buckley’s looks like a diner, but it’s actually a very fine, upscale restaurant.
