People have been calling to see what’s going on in West Brattleboro. Power went out a while ago.
Green Mountain Power’s outage center says Brattleboro has 3 separate problems, affecting 3252 customers. Not much other information to share.

It just came back a couple minutes ago. In all it was out for about a half hour in the Shire. Nobody knows why around here.
Grass Mowing Error
According to the Reformer’s FB page, GMP had to turn off power for about 30 minutes today after someone mowing grass down near the Vernon substation accidentally “hit a guy wire which whipped up into the air and wrapped around a transmission line.”
Everyone’s power should be back on now…
