Connect, Collaborate, Innovate!
On Wednesday, January 13, at 6:30pm, the Community Development Action Team of the West Brattleboro Association will host the first ever BizUp West B! This will take place in the center conference room at 55 Marlboro Road. (The building with Central Appliance on one corner.)
Connect, Collaborate and Innovate! BizUp events intend to connect our talented local business owners and organizational leaders with one another, providing the possibility of sharing resources, supporting collaboration and sparking innovation.
6:30-7:00 pm Drink, Eat + Mingle (cider, ice cream, liqueur or non-alcoholic choice, dumplings)
7:00-8:30 Program + Games
8:30-9:00 Linger + Mingle some more
Attendees are encouraged to bring a small poster board representing their business or organization. We’ll line the walls with these poster boards, so we can all see the range of business resources in our community. (Blank poster boards can be picked up at the Vermont Country Deli Market.)
One example of poster board is attached, but you can make yours as simple as you want. It can even be an enlarged or enhanced version of your business card!
At 6:30 we’ll mingle and share local eats, sweets and libations: Whetstone CiderWorks cider, Chelsea Royal Diner ice cream topped with Saxton’s River Distillery liqueur or a non-alcoholic choice, and delicious dumplings by Cai’s Dim Sum Teahouse.
At 7:00 the program and games will begin, under the conducting of maestro Erin Maile O’Keefe. We will be done by 8:30, with a plan for future events.
Any businesses from West Brattleboro or nearby are more than welcome to attend.
