Update…he is hoping to open later in the season. Lots of hoops to jump through: negotiations with new landowner, issues with buried gas tanks next door, etc. But he’s working on it.

a pause for the cause
Good to hear it is a just a pause. There’s something refreshing about seeing people stopped at Fast Eddie’s and Top of the Hill that makes it feel like summer.
I love Fast Eddies, hope they
I love Fast Eddies, hope they do come back
Best-stuffed lobster rolls around...
Overflowing with big chunks of real lobster and minimal mayo and lettuce.
And they make great old fashioned malted milkshakes!
?
What does underground gas tanks next door have to do with a seasonal creamey stand?
Oh that’s right this is Vermont forget common sense.

The legal paperwork was finally accomplished, but at this point it wasn’t worth opening for only a short amount of time. BUT…he’s on track for next summer!
Fingers crossed…I miss those overstuffed lobster rolls and old fashioned malted milkshakes!
Good to hear
It’s nice to have Fast Eddies and Top of the Hill going all summer. Both attract a fair amount of hungry traffic, which makes people stop and ponder Brattleboro for a while.
Plus, with the old cars over there each week, having the drive in food sort of completes the picture, doesn’t it? (All that is missing is the roller skates…)
