Anyone know what the almost-windowless and doorless, tan, oversized loads going through town are? There seem to be some sort of utlitites attached to the back, maybe air, but otherwsie they are quite non-descript.

Don't know
I’ve seen about four of them on Rt9 in the last couple of weeks. They don’t look like mobile homes, but they are about that size.
Identity and purpose
There is one way to find out. Form a human barricade to be ready to stop them to detain them for the purpose of discovering their identity and purpose.
Mini detention facilities?
Great idea — we could look inside for the shackles….
lol !
My very thoughts… 🙂
My guess...
is that there are a lot of happy penguins inside the trucks.
lol !!
Not my very thoughts, but very funny!
It makes sense.
I agree that it must be penguins. Penguins don’t need windows like we do, and they like pre-installed refrigeration units.
Given the size of these loads, I’d estimate between 160-240 penguins must be inside each delivery.
Given that there have been many of these come through town, it would stand to reason that there is a community north or east of us that is building up a supply of some 10-20,000 penguins. But what for?
Maybe the penguins are moving from the south pole to the north pole?
Maybe...
getting ready for a Linux promotion?
A swap?
If Chris is right (and I believe he is) that the penguins are moving from the south pole to the north pole) then I wonder if on the return trip the trucks are bringing polar bears to the south pole.
