I’ve a weeklong visitor coming and need ideas of where to take an older, low key guy with walking problems. Ideas please!?
Thanks in advance!

Simon Pierce
I hate to use the petroleum but desperate times call for desperate measures. A drive to almost anywhere in Vermont and back is a great time for those less mobile. For example:
Simon Pierce either in Quechee or Windsor to watch glass blowing. The Quechee location has a restaurant with fabulous Cheddar Soup.
A scenic drive up and over the Greens to Bennington and back would be nice.
Perhaps the American Precision Museum in Windsor, VT. (I haven’t been yet and I don’t know how problematic is “walking problems”. )
Circumnavigating Brattleboro
There’s a great driving loop that circles Brattleboro and takes you through some “Real Vermont” country.

BHC
Brattleboro History Center – wheelchair entrance in back if needed.
Neat stuff about Brattleboro and island Park right now.
