  Wouldn’t it be nice to have wings like that? I’d be out flapping them on a nice day, too, if I were so lucky.

  About this time last year, one of these flew across RT 142 in Vernon just in front of my car. Almost immediately 2 of them flew back across the road.
  I spoke to somebody in VT Fish & Wildlife, and was told there were no golden eagles in VT.
  I think he was wrong.

  I did not get a picture, but I’ve been taking my daughter to Putney landing a lot to view Eagles. On sunday 3/6/16 we were lucky enough to see a golden eagle! Beautiful! It was a nice sighting!
