Groundworks Collaborative is taking over the former Domino’s Pizza location at 141 Canal Street to relocate their Food Shelf from the Drop-In Center at 60 South Main. The spiffy new “warm and welcoming” spot will be called Foodworks and will allow for better access and parking.
To relocate, new walk-in coolers, sinks, and signs need to be set up. Groundworks is looking for donations to help cover the $15,000 plus costs.
Foodworks hours will be:
Mondays: 11am to 4 pm
Tuesdays: Noon – 2pm for seniors only
Tuesdays: 2-4pm
Wednesdays: 1pm-6pm
Thursdays: Closed
Fridays: Noon- 4pm
Last Saturday of the month: 9am – Noon
Sundays: Closed
