The Fairy Circus is Coming to Town

Putney- Sandglass Theater’s Winter Sunshine Series continues its 13th season of puppet shows for young audiences with The Fairy Circus by Tanglewood Marionettes on Saturday, March 7th at 11am and 2pm. The Fairy Circus features over twenty turn-of-the-century-style trick puppets. The puppets dance, play instruments, juggle, contort, transform, and fly through the air with the greatest of ease, all to the best-loved music of favorite composers. This show is sure to delight young children and family audiences alike.
Tanglewood Marionettes, founded in 1993, is a nationally touring marionette theater based in New England. Their work features beautifully hand-crafted string marionettes and puppets and colorful sets with integrated lighting and sound to create a fully immersive theatrical experience.
Winter Sunshine is Southern Vermont’s favorite puppet theater series for young audiences and offers performances, workshops and school engagements. The Winter Sunshine Series is a lively celebration where the community gathers to share the warmth, laughter and the magic of stories told through puppetry.
Recommended for ages 3 and up. Tickets are $9 each and can be purchased at sandglasstheater.org.
