In an effort to promote citizen involvement and help RTM members better represent their constituents, there will be a public forum for District 3 residents at 3 pm on Sunday March 13 in the social hall at Trinity Lutheran Church, 161 Western Avenue. This citizens’ forum is intended to allow people who live in District 3 to express their concerns and to ask questions about Town issues in advance of the RTM meeting on March 19.
I would encourage RTM members from District 3 to attend to hear from their neighbors.
For the wellbeing of attendees and out of respect for the members of Trinity Lutheran Church, which is graciously providing a space for the forum, face coverings are required.

Three Cheers for Three
I am beyond thrilled to see this happening in District 3. I hope lots of people attend, and if they don’t, it doesn’t stop this from becoming a regular event. (Spellcheck changed that second to last word to “regal” on me, heh…)
:)
Thanks for the kind words. I have no idea how many people will attend though I’m hoping for a good turnout. In any event, I plan that this will only be the first of an annual series.
Good luck!
I think anything that increases dialogue and interaction among/between constituents and reps is a good thing. It’s one of the biggest holes in the way RTM is carried out vs how it was imagined.
I’d love to see a district come to RTM united behind something they want done. I’d like to see a District have a meeting/newsletter after RTM to explain to their reps what they did, too.
Future thought: Potlucks tend to get people to come out.
District 3
While not available to attend this event for personal reasons, I am very much interested in any feedback from the forum.
where exactly is District 3?
Does it include downtown?
Makes me think of Petula Clark
District 3 is roughly east of I-91 and Eliot Street north. See the Town Clerk’s map:
