Brattleboro Senior Meals Celebrates March for Meals
Brattleboro Senior Meals joins with the Meals on Wheels Association of America to celebrate March for Meals. The month of March mobilizes hundreds of local Meals on Wheels programs across the country to reach out to their communities and build support that will sustain them all year long.
In conjunction with this Brattleboro Senior Meals will be hosting a fundraiser “Lunch at the Latchis” with the Windham Orchestra, March 26th. The orchestra will be performing Rimsky-Korsakov “Russian Easter Festival”, Richard Strauss “Oboe Concerto , Etan Nasreddin-Longo (local composer) “Lucifer’s Love Song for the Lord’ and the winner of the Shotstakovich Concerto Competition. The doors open at Noon and the concert starts at 12:30. General admission is $15 for lunch/concert. Seniors admission is $10 for lunch/concert. Tickets can be purchased through Brattleboro Senior Meals, 802-257-1236 or the Brattleboro Music Center, 802-257-4523. Deadline for ticket purchases is March 20th.
This gives us all an opportunity to support the Brattleboro seniors stronger and healthier. And, in doing so, know that your contribution will make a difference to, and touch the hearts of, your courageous aging neighbors.

Good for neighborhoods
We see the impact of the Meals on Wheels program in our neighborhood. Without it, neighbors who are otherwise ok would likely have to move into some sort of assisted living program. MoW keeps them in their homes, and makes sure they eat.
