I wonder if others in our greater community are interested in attending the Community Solutions conference in Yellow Springs, Ohio, Nov 7-9th? I believe we in southern Vermont would be well-served to send scouts to learn more of what others are doing … we might avoid re-inventing wheels, so to speak, and learn of successes and ways we have not considered yet.
I also wonder if others in the community might be willing to donate to the costs for those who do go as our representative “scouts”? And would POS be willing to collect contributions for the Brattleboro contingent
to the Community Solutions Conference? I am willing to go because I feel it will serve us well to send someone … if others are willing and more energized than I, I am willing to stay home 😉
Will you send this message out to the POS and Transition email lists? with your input/answer about channeling funds for travel to Ohio 😉 ???
