Curbside Lunch Pickup at the Brattleboro VFW Starting July 13th

Until further notice, beginning July 13th, the VFW will be offering curbside pick up from 11:30 – 1:30 Monday – Friday. Please make sure you tell us this will be a curbside pickup order when calling. 257-0438. Cash only for curbside. We are still serving lunch inside the hall Mon – Fri from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm and take outs are also available. Masks required while inside.

VFW Lunch Specials $7 June 22nd – June 26th Open to the Public

The Brattleboro VFW at 40 Black Mountain Road is open to the public. Our hours are Mon-Fri from 11am-7pm. Sat & Sun from 1pm-7pm. We will be serving lunches Mon-Fri from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, with doors opening at 11 am. There will be slight price increases at this time, with prices subject to change. Our lunch specials will now be $7. Lunches will be served on our hall side due to social distancing restrictions. Entrance will be through the glass doors, and the public is welcome. Per town ordinance, masks must be worn while walking around the hall, but not while seated at your table.

Brattleboro Area Food Deliveries For Those That Need Help

Amazing! The Brattleboro VFW and Brattleboro Elks have taken in more than $6000 for our food drive and delivery program since we started. We are still taking names for those that need a little help during these trying times. If you need groceries, please call 802-257-0438 and leave your contact information so our Quartermaster Lisa Lofting can get back to you.

This includes the Brattleboro, Guilford, Putney, Vernon and Dummerston areas.

Vermont Free Food Distribution May 27 at BUHS

On Wednesday, May 27, the State of Vermont will be distributing a large amount of free food in the student parking lot at Brattleboro Union High School from 10a – 2p.  Everyone is welcome,  you will be asked only the community you are from (this is for Brattleboro and the region around us) and how many people are in your household.  You will not be asked names or your financial information.

We are now offering CONTACTLESS CURBSIDE PICKUP AT DOSA KITCHEN with an abbreviated menu plus an opportunity to purchase prepared food and grocery items from dosa batter and sambar to ghee, fermentation crocks, and Dosa Kitchen T-shirts from our store.
