Every once in a while we ask fans of the site to help cover the costs of keeping it going.
If you are in a position to do so and would like to help out, consider a gift to help offset some of the expenses of keeping this ship sailing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (for over a decade).
You can help cover the costs of hosting and bandwidth, show your appreciation for the unique blend of truly local news and commentary you find here, make a statement about local citizen media, or simply contribute to the Grotke Rehabilitation Fund for time served covering the Selectboard.
We intentionally keep the site free of annoying, non-local ads, despite the offers that come our way to make money off of you by selling your personal data to corporations.
If you like the site and can help, you can send your gift to iBrattleboro, 41 Cedar Street, Brattleboro, VT, 05301. I’ll do a couple of reminders throughout the week.
If you’d like to pay with a credit card, send an email to info@ibrattleboro.com with the amount and we can send a request invoice via PayPal.
And if you can’t afford anything, don’t feel bad. You can help us by just telling someone else you like the site. Talk it up.
Thanks for helping to keep things running!

Midweek reminder
Thanks to those who have contributed. We’ll be sending out special thank you notes along with a piece of iBrattleboro history to you.
There’s still time if you’d like to help out, and hare just a few things from the last month that you might find worthy of your support:
And, we don’t edit your submissions to fit our needs.
Final reminder, then I shut up
One final reminder, in case you missed it.
We’re doing one of our not-very-often drives to let people who like and benefit from the site to help contribute to the overhead and expenses. It may not seem like much, but we’ve kept it going every day since Feb 2003 – on those nice days when everyone is outside, on holidays where everyone else has a day off, through controversies, and so on.
We’ll keep your gift quiet, so you lurkers can remain lurkers. : )
(Note: Billionaires are especially welcome to give at any time. With your no-strings gift of multiple millions, we will distribute it among all the users of the site and have a big celebration downtown for everyone.)
Thanks, all.
