The table saw is a versatile and powerful tool, used for ripping, cross-cutting, making angled cuts in wood, cutting joinery elements, and more. This class covers learning how to safely and confidently use this essential woodshop machine.

Learn. Topics covered in this introductory session are:

• Machine anatomy and typical set-ups for basic use
• Basic operations including ripping, cross-cutting and making angled cuts
• Developing safe habits and “muscle memory” while using the table saw
• Table saw options on the market and their pros and cons
• Lots of hands-on practice
