Prerequisite: The Table Saw 102 OR Milling Rough Lumber OR equivalent experience

The table saw is a versatile and powerful tool, used for ripping, cross-cutting, making angled cuts in wood, cutting joinery elements, and more. This is the third part in a 3-part series learning how to safely and confidently use this essential woodshop machine.

Learn. Topics covered in this advanced session are:

  • Stop cuts and plunge cuts; when they are necessary and how to execute them safely
  • Cutting coves for use in making mouldings
  • Handles for furniture pieces
  • Lots of hands-on practice, and opportunities to explore safe solutions to technical or design-related problems

Cost: $68 members; $80 non-members

What to Bring: Bring any questions you have about using the table saw in your own projects.
