Rock River Players present Sophocles’ Antigone in a contemporary translation by Paul Woodruff. 

The play, focused on the conflict –and resulting tragic consequence–posed when family and higher powers clash with governance and civic rule,  is “perennially relevant as long as we’re living in a patriarchy,” says Tracy Berchi playing the titular role. John Moran directs.
