One Act Play Auditions – Vermont Theatre Company

Auditions will be held for four 1 Act Plays. Directors are Jesse Tidd, Kay Becker, Dante Mauriello, and Casey Parles. The shows include JM Synge’s In the Shadow of the Glen; 11:11 by James Perry; Emotional Baggage by Lindsay Price; and Rappaccini’s Daughter, an adaptation of the Nathaniel Hawthorn story, written by Dante Mauriello.

This will be a group audition. Participants should expect to arrive at 6pm, fill out audition forms with contact information, then play some collaborative theatre games. Actors will also be asked to read from short scenes with other auditioners.

The 1 Act Plays will be performed the weekend of November 21-24. Rehearsals will begin the week of October 14th.
