HatchSpace Meet-up Night: BDCC Biz Night

Join us for an informal Meet-up featuring projects by HatchSpace members and class attendees. Hear about their current creative works, chat with other woodworkers, tour the space and learn. All are welcome! Light refreshments will be served.

HatchSpace and the BDCC are joining forces to host a special business-solutions event for all local businesses. This event will be a mash-up between HatchSpace’s popular monthly Meet-Up Nights and BDCC’s popular BizConnect Series, creating a dynamic atmosphere for connection and collaboration among entrepreneurial-minded attendees. While the setting highlights the creative energy of the woodworking center, this event emphasizes the business side of running any enterprise – based in wood or otherwise!

The evening will feature a short (10 min) presentation from HatchSpace member Mary McLoughlin who has successfully leveraged both HatchSpace and BDCC resources to fuel their business development. They’ll share their journey, including the struggles and successes they encountered, from initial business planning and marketing to the intricacies of patent creation. This real-world example will highlight the power of local resources and inspire attendees to explore similar pathways for their own businesses.
