The Brattleboro Women’s Chorus presents their 29th annual fall concert, “We Toast the Days,” on Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24 at 4 pm at the Brattleboro Music Center. The concert features over 60 singers singing music composed by women who are almost all living composers. This year the BWC is directed by Becky Graber, chorus founder, in collaboration with a guest songleader, local musician Anna Patton. The hour-long concert includes “I Dream of Poppies” and “Little Duck” by Vermont composers Jennifer Jones and Heidi Wilson, “Big Old Life” by Rani Arbo, and “Never One Thing” by May Erlewine. Cathy Martin will accompany the group on piano with Anna Patton on occasional clarinet.
