McNeill’s Brewery
90 Elliot Street, Brattleboro, VT
What kind of a musical hotbed would Brattleboro be without a monthly pub sing hosted by our own Tony Barrand and Amanda Witman? Join us on the THIRD Saturday of every month from 3-5 pm at McNeill’s Brewery on Elliot Street as we raise the rafters of the old firehouse with harmony and good cheer.
Come listen, sing along, perhaps lead a song or two. Songs led from memory with easily joined-in choruses are our custom. Pub songs, work songs, sea shanties, and other traditional songs are welcome.
The pub has some excellent local brews on tap, as well as cider and seltzer and other fine imbibements, and light food is available as well. All ages are welcome — children, too. Shelves of games and other amusements are available for the younger crowd.
Come join us every third Saturday from 3-5 pm, and enjoy a double-dip in January and December:
~ On the last weekend in January, come partake of the Northern Roots Festival, of which this pub sing is a part. Timing is according to the festival schedule, which you can see here: http://bmcvt.org/northern-roots-festival. Verify the day and time beforehand!
~ On Christmas Eve, we have an extra-special, unforgettable holiday pub sing from 3-5 pm. We take our usual pub sing format, increase the number of singers exponentially, and drown it all in delicious holiday musical traditions of Old and New England. Nowell Sing We Clear fans, step right up and get your fix!
Please note that the pub is not officially handicap-accessible, but that doesn’t stop Tony, so don’t let it stop you, either. Let us know if you need particular accommodations and we’ll try our best.
Visitors are always welcome.
