The Brattleboro Farmers’ Market hosts live music every week from 11am to 1pm. This week, Xopo performs: “Xopo plays traditional tunes of the Balkans on a variety of instruments including accordion, trombone, clarinet, drums and an array of stringed instruments. Haunting love songs, lively dance tunes and surprising rhythms create a diverse and entrancing musical experience.”
The summer abundance of tomatoes, corn, peaches, beans, apples, veggies of all kinds and much more is rolling in from local farms. Globe-spanning cuisine includes Malian, Thai, Indian, Chinese dim sum, and more– new at market is farm-to-plate Taco Barn. Gorgeous craft items include turned wooden bowls, cutting boards, lawn furniture, metal-worked and beaded jewelry, soap, massage, pottery and children’s costumes and play food.
