Martine has been a Manchester resident for over 20 years, and is a mother of two daughters: the eldest a senior at the U.S. Naval Academy, and the youngest a junior in high school. She is a founding member of www.StopSmeters.org, the largest organization opposing wireless smart meters in Vermont.
Martine is committed to raising public awareness about the alarming range of risks posed by smart meters, and to the goal of replacing wireless smart meters with a more economically sensible, and safer hard-wired alternative
Matt Levin , Outreach and Development Director for Vermonters for a Clean Environment, has worked for VCE since January 2005. A veteran community and political organizer, during his career Matt has worked on issues ranging from workplace rights to environmental protection to low-income housing. He has worked in several regions of the country in roles as diverse as community organizer, state and federal lobbyist, management and organizational development consultant, and non-profit executive director.
Prior to working for VCE, Matt worked for several Vermont non-profits and political organizations. He lives with his wife and two children in Berlin.
Ray Pealer has been measuring and studying the impacts of electromagnetic radiation for over 20 years. He is now a health advocate and consultant helping Vermonters connect the dots between electromagnetic radiation and their health. Ray has provided testimony before the Vermont State Legislature on Smart Meter radiation and on the health impacts experienced by residents of Vermont.
