FILMS, FOOD AND FUN!!!
Join us for our first annual Summer Cinema Slam.
We’ve got a great lineup of Vermont films, food and drink and music from Lowell Thompson.
The Slam is showcasing FIVE films made in Vermont or made by Vermonters.
The Shorts program starts at 6:30pm with Q&As with directors, followed by an intermission and the feature presentation followed by director Q&A starts at 9pm.
Music by Lowell Thompson
Rising star Lowell Thompson will be playing a solo set during the intermission. Thompson’s work has been lauded by Rolling Stone magazine as “Inspired alt-country.” He has been handpicked to share the stage with the likes of Graham Parker, Justin Townes Earle, and Dawes. His latest effort ‘Stranger’s Advice’ was released in January, 2015, and he contributed music for his brother Colin Thompson’s film, the Summer Cinema Slam’s feature.
