Minutes of August 4, 2022
Meeting via Zoom and in person at Central Office
Members Present: Kerry Amidon, Shaun Murphy, Kelly Young
Also Present: Stacey Mousseau
CALL TO ORDER: 5:05 PM – Kerry Amidon
On a motion by Shaun Murphy and seconded by Kelly Young, the committee approved the minutes of July 28th.
On a motion by Shaun Murphy and seconded by Kelly Young, the committee approved the new hires of Melissa White- Guilford School Nurse (currently float nurse under WSESU) and Erelyn Griffin- Oak Grove Art Teacher – .4FTE.
On a motion by Kelly Young and seconded by Shaun Murphy, the committee approved the 1% application for Dummerston: Kaitlyn Tafe, new grade 4 teacher requesting 2 days to review curriculum and prepare for the start of the school year.
On a motion bay Shaun Murphy and seconded by Kelly Young, the committee approved the 1% application for BUHS: Community Based Learning Transition Training by Lisa Johnson of replacement teacher Tosha Tillman, including review of program, review of students and their
needs and expectations, an overview of community businesses and contact information, strategies for interaction with students and businesses and review of curriculum.
Members should hold next Thursday, August 11th for our next meeting date. The committee adjourned at 5:10 PM on a motion by Kelly Young and seconded by Shaun Murphy.
