This course will cover all the basics of using your DSLR camera and digital edits in Photoshop.
The course will begin with the technical uses of the camera parts and functions, and the understanding of light. The main objective is for students to create strong images of different subject matter under various lighting conditions.
Following the camera parts and functions, a range of photographs will be shown and discussed to introduce the types of images students will be concentrating on throughout the course. Students are given various opportunities to explore and learn different camera functions and photographic techniques through on site demonstrations, in class shooting time, and between course meetings.
The course will cover: Landscapes and Nature, People, Animals, Action, Abstract, and Night Photography. Various subjects will be covered during demonstrations and free shooting time.
