Good reading to you !
As a lifelong reader, this program has enough of the old world in it to appeal to me and I’m sure many book lovers. I know Kris has worked on this to help make it happen and I think this is her second year. I first learned of the program when she was a special speaker at our Friends of the Library board meeting.
April 14-20 is also national library week. It sounds like a good time to stop by Brooks Library to sign up for your library card if you don’t already have one or wish to renew. While you’re there ask about how you can support the Friends of the Library.
Good reading to you !

Thanks, Vidda! I'm just
Thanks, Vidda! I’m just trying to get the word out about this wonderful event- putting books in the hands of as many people as possible is more important than ever with so many libraries having funding cut and bookstores closing.
My hope is that more people will join in this event each year. Last year there were 2 Brattleboro folks participating – 16 this year! Progress!
