The Nimbus Dance Company will be back on The Putney School campus from Feb. 24 to March 2 for a week-long residency.
This will be the premier New Jersey contemporary dance company’s eighth consecutive year on campus. While here, the dancers will teach master classes and perform excerpts of new Nimbus dance pieces in addition to pieces from their acclaimed repertory. Students and members of the greater Putney community will have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with Nimbus dancers, gaining insight into the inner workings of a professional dance company, including the disciplines and daily work habits required to become a professional dancer.
The week-long collaboration will culminate in a performance on Friday, March 1 at 7:30pm in Calder Hall, and is free and open to the public. We hope you will join for an incredible evening of dance and collaboration!
