“For You… With Love” At New England Youth Theatre, May 20-22

Tickets are on sale now for the Brattleboro School of Dance annual spring concert, “For You…with Love” at the New England Youth Theatre on 100 Flat Street in downtown Brattleboro.

Artistic director Jennifer Moyse says “For You…With Love” is a collection of dance pieces in varying styles offered as a gift to the audience from the BSD community. “This year marks the fortieth anniversary of the school’s founding. So many of those early students now have their own children studying with us. We dance with gratitude for the years of support we’ve received.”

Concert choreography is by faculty and alumni, featuring a special Company piece about communication in the age of technology choreographed by Moyse, Jamie Harrison Gehring and new guest choreographer Ericka Klemperer. Another longer piece is choregraphed by faculty member Rachel Hebert.

Show times are 7:30pm on Friday May 20 and Saturday, May 21. There is also a 2:00pm matinee on Sunday, May 22. General admission for each show is $18 and $15 for seniors and children under 12 years old. Advance tickets can be purchased at www.ForYouWithLove.brownpapertickets.com or at the Brattleboro School of Dance studios on 22 High Street in Brattleboro on Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Proceeds go to support the Company of Muses scholarship fund.
