PRESS RELEASE: B4 PEACE ART at CLEAR WATER
FESTIVAL – June 15-16, 2013

The B4 Peace
Projects will be at the Clearwater Festival for the third year with our art and
performance for peace. There are activities and projects for children and
adults, where you can make your own peace arts. B 4 Peace is a community
of artists and activists known as “ART RATS 4 Peace,” coming together to create
peace events.
Come to the Activists Area where there will be a 9 foot tall pyramid with a
peace symbol inside of a 300 pound block of ice melting over a candle and a
pool called the Inevitability of Peace. There is a display of the
poem 100 Flowers of peace with large 2 foot by 1 foot banners written in
100 languages on display. The Reign of Peace will be on display
with brightly painted umbrellas with messages of peace. An 8 foot Peace
symbol Peace is One will have a place for leaving your message of hope.
Our Peace Fairy/ Art Rat Dancers Jules, Nina & Zoe will lead music and
songs. Vote for Peace/ Vote for War? – this civic education project
helps youth and citizens to understand the costs of war and its impact on
health, education and municipal budgets Other peace fairies/ Art Rats for Peace
will be there with projects and performances. Namaya will perform songs and
poems of peace. Facebook page with events and information at
