The cops could not get their story straight about the weapon &/or “silencer”.   At one point it was a farm instrument.   They had a Starbucks cup with “latent” prints and came up empty.  As a “retired software developer” with keen interest in legal details regarding “expert” technology, the facial recognition concerns me not.

The cops could not get their story straight on what was “meticulously” written using a Sharpie on the three recovered shell casings.   They “corrected” once and then “corrected” again.  The words–all alliterative, all duosyllabic–could have been quoted from a toddler.

Be Damn Sure when an assassin succeeds in killing a man
– worth nine digits USD and clearly intent on making that ten or more
– clearly a white-collar criminal–it’s undisputable the man engaged in insider trading–of a high-magnitude who faced the “full” consequence of a Congressional scolding
Be Damn Sure the assassin will find sympathy.

When you personally profit from the pain and misery of the many, you lose your “right” to victimhood.

I’ve heard a few times that “one should not speak ill of the dead”.
I will provide a full-throated rebuttal involving Bob Fortune, blown to bits over Lockerbie.   This smug slime living manifestation of greed-is-good lowlife was a relative through two unholy marriages.  The Thanksgiving I was conscripted into his crappy household in Queens was amongst the worst days–not holidays, not getting wailed-on days–I recall vividly if in black and white.  The one thing my old man and I agreed about when I was in my twenties was that avaricious scum was the worst.

NYPD’s track record will always taint past, present and future cases.

I was delighted to read that TikTok sleuths a third my age refuse to snitch.

NYC put out the standard 10k bounty–unchanged since the 1980s–and the FBI added 50k.   If I took snitch shekels they would go to alleviating Luigi’s next unpleasant stage of life as best as possible.  Perhaps he should not profit from his crime, but I’m all in for the people to profit from his crime.

Last I heard The Fortune Society was good people.   I’m confident their hearts are pure but a generation on I cannot account for the full integrity of the organization.   Unlike Bernie, I never disagree with their sentiments.
